The country needs Six Sigma
Makati sucks. I hate it big time. I can't believe I prefer our Mall of Asia location. But now, it is official.
Working on an 8PM to 5AM shift in the congested "business district" is a challenge. Need I describe how the city is about this time?
Needless to say, I now end up spending more travel time compared to when I was in Pasay. I have to be awake by 6PM -smoking, downloading, bathing and dressing up will take an hour. By 7PM, I shall be on my way to the MRT. By the time I reach Buendia, or Ayala, (which shall take no more than 30 minutes from Kamuning station - unless another billboard along EDSA lands along the MRT tracks) all of the yuppies, each with his own car, are out hurrying home. By this time also, all the MMDAs suppossed to make the traffic flow better are hiding from somewhere either to catch an unaware motorist for a ticket or because their shiftis about to end. More, the on-going construction in Makati Avenue makes the "business district" impervious to any moving object.
Today, I was 9 minutes late, 160 pesos poorer, absolutely not in the mood to teach - all because the traffic flow in the country is managed so poorly.
GMA and all the government officials, LEARN AND APPLY SIX SIGMA!!!!
